What do I want to get from this? I'm not sure really. I suppose this will be a great place for me to write about my daily life with the kids, and other silly things. Let the family have a place to come to to keep up with our lives. I used to send out emails on a weekly basis but I let it die. This will give me an opportunity to let every one know how we are.
Now, while my kids are always fun and exciting, I am almost postive that I will come up with other things to write about....like my husband. Or maybe, I can give you a little insight into my demented thought process, as if you are interested. I can talk about my latest genealogy findings, or my newest favorite song. You might be interested to know that I am babysitting my wonderful litlle neice next weekend. I think I will also come up with nicknames for my family members (like fellow blogger Katrina) to give them some privacy. As a matter of fact, let's do that now...
Husband= CasaNova (Because it makes me laugh)
16 year old stepdaughter = Drama Queen (Only sometimes really, she's really great)
10 year old son= Handsome (Because he really is)
5 year old daughter= Princess (although she is more the drama queen, it's because she believes she is the princess)
So now that we have that established, it's late, and once again I CANNOT sleep!!! Most of you know that this has been a problem for me for about a year so. It's really crazy. I could drink wine, but I always want to finish the bottle and have a party so I can't do that anymore. I try to read, but then I get into the book and don't want to stop reading it. I can lay in bed, but then I only rethink the entire day OVER AND OVER again!!! OR I could take the Sonata my lovely doc prescribed, but I really don't like taking them. Someone help me!!!
Maybe tonight I'm excited because early voting starts tomorrow for the school board election and while I complain about that a lot, I really do enjoy doing it. Mainly because I always make a new friend. I get to meet so many different people!!! Well, I think I am going to watch the History Channel now. Maybe it will help me fall sleep.....

- I am the wonderful age of 30, married for 8 years to a man 18 years my senior. We have 5 kids, 3 are his, 1 is mine, and 1 is ours. We currently have 3 living at home. They are 16, 10, and 5. I started this blog because I have been reading a few and decided that I should have my own. Why should I have my own, you ask?
