Ans I received a complaint....

Obviously, someone is reading this because they complained that I hadn't posted. Okay, maybe it wasn't a complaint, but they mentioned that I hadn't kept up with it. The truth is, I really have been super busy. The election, the kids, blah blah blah. So, short version of the last 2 weeks...Ava was great!!!, baseball practice, softball practice, baseball game, softball game, the election ended, still waiting on TAKS results, Ashley went to Oklahoma with her mom, football sign ups (that I missed and now have to beg for a place for Ashton), etc, etc, etc.

That's it. Guess how many times I cooked??? ONCE!!! lol. Randy and his brother cooked for Mother's Day...which was nice by the way. Randy's family came over and we picked Joyce up from the nursing home. Really good day. AND I got a new kitchen table. It's really nice and it's NEW!!! It's not from a garage sale or from Randy's brother's storage business defaults. :)

Some things I am excited about right now... my friend is putting a dance studio together and has asked me to work with a class of boys (not sure if I can really do it or if I'm going to do it), Ashton recived several awards at school (YYYEEEAAAAHHHHH), and I went shopping with my sister today WITHOUT MY CHILDREN, and I bought some things for MEE!!! I really enjoyed spending some much needed one on one with Shelly, and the plus was I got new summer clothes and shoes too!!! Now, what I missed in the last 2 weeks was raising funds for CFF!!! I also didn't get to walk for it. I will have to be more prepared for next year!!! Okay, so I couldn't really come up with a good subject today, but I do have another really good blog to mention. www.parentsbehavingbadly.com This is a hard one to read but thank goodness someone writes about these horrible parents. I really don't think anyone is reading this!!! I guess that's all right. I don't mind talking to myself.

Today was a busy day. I had lots to do at work and then left right after to scoop up Ava. For those of you who don't know, that's my niece. MAN, I love that girl!!! I get to keep her all weekend and I am SSOOOOO excited about it. The Ashton and Cadence really love having her around too - by the way I gave up on the nicknames. It's too hard to keep up. :) Anyhow, after getting Ava loaded up, we headed to Coby's t-ball game (Mark's oldest son). I love watching those little kids play. Problem is, I like to visit with Tracy too...so I didn't see much of the game. Coby is very cute though.

So, I guess that's about it for the day. Ashley just came in from work and is giving me the high school latest...begging to bring her boyfriend with us to a family reunion on Sunday. So, I'll post again with details of the weekend later!!
